Hi, I just wanted to say hello and touch base with you abouta few things –

My name is Jim and I saw you at Ed & Joe’s in Tinleyabout a week ago where we had a brief conversation before your set – We talkedguitars and blues a bit, but I had to leave before I had the chance to ask youa couple of questions –

I had mentioned that I wanted to get back into playing aftertaking some years off and I asked you about some equipment things… but I also wantedto follow up and find out about open mic nights, jams and other local gettogethers –

I see you have a posting about a Blues Jam on Thursdays onthe North Side… is that still happening? – Also, I was wondering if you everhave any other opportunities to sit in with the band, or just jam duringoff-hours –

As I said, I’m a huge blues fan and player, but I also haveto say my heart and soul belongs to rockabilly and early rock stuff (think ofCarl Perkins, Elvis, Beatles, etc)

I’m just looking for places to play and perhaps a long termgig – Any advice would be appreciated – Would love to get together and talkmusic with you and your other band members some time –

I loved the sound of your duo and that is something alongthe lines of what I want to do as well –
